It’s been a while since I blogged, but at the moment I’m on jury service so I’ve loads of time to read, think, blog and generally wait around while I wait for my name to be called for another murder trial, fraud trial or drugs trial…
I thought I’d do a top 5 list, they always go down well, so here you go;
My 5 worst running experiences:
- When someone threw beer on me as I ran along the Thames at Westminster. He was a tramp, but still.
- When I “fuelled” a 15 mile run in the foothills of the Himalayas with Amla. I thought it was just a dried fruit (it’s an Indian gooseberry) when I bought it in a pharmacy but it turned out to be a laxative. A very fast working laxative as it so happens. I darted behind many a boulder during that run. Rishikesh Running.
- When I tore a ligament going over my ankle running in Bogota, Colombia. Here’s a word of advice: never try run the streets of a third world country; they’re always uneven. ALWAYS.
- The last 8 miles of Singapore marathon. The heat. The humidity. Words fail me. This was AWFUL. Singapore Marathon Joy.
- Nah I can’t think of any more. I love running! You all know that by now 😆

I ❤️ running
What adventures you have had. Hope jury service gets a bit more exciting.

Fun list. My worst was when I did a half on one of the coldest days of the year. I still regret that I finished it.
