I’m a Scottish chick with a passion for travelling, running and generally trying to get the most outta life. In 2014 I started to think it was time to take a break, hit the road for a few months, and do all the things that I love along the way….and that’s when this blog was born!
I’ve done a good bit of travelling before, in 2007 I left the UK to work and travel my way round the world for nearly three years. I loved it! A year in South America travelling around for 6 months and working in Buneos Aires for 6 months… then a year and a half in Australia again working most of the time with trips to China, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. On the three month journey home I travelled a lot of South East Asia including Indonesia, The Philippines and all the usual places in between. I returned Christmas 2009 believing the whole travel bug was out of my system.
Fast forward to 2014 and I decided to hit the road again for 6 months, and since I’ve always tried to run whenever I’ve arrived in a new place this time I decided to base my route around a couple of marathons (Singapore and California) and cool places to train in between (Northern India, Nepal and Myanmar to start off with). I blogged about my adventures and since I returned in 2015 I’ve continued to write about my running adventures around the world ….
Run Scottish girl run!
